EU and EEA citizens have the right of free movement, but anyone intending to live and work in Cyprus for more than 90 days must apply for a Registration Certificate, widely known as the Yellow Slip (MEU1 form).
Document Requirements:
•Valid passport or national identity card.
•Certified rental agreement (stamped at the Tax Department) or title deed of property in Cyprus.
•Employer confirmation / contract of employment, or proof of self-employment (Social Insurance certificate), or bank statements showing sufficient funds from abroad.
•Private local comprehensive health insurance certificate.
At ATZ FinHub, we verify all documentation before submission to the Civil Registry and Migration Department (CRMD) and accompany our clients throughout the process.
